Materazzi will receive compensations from Daily Mail

After he sued the journalists from Daily Mail, the Inter Milan defender received substantial compensations from Associated Newspapers, the company that owns Daily Mail. After they accused Marco Materazzi that he addressed racist insults to Zinedine Zidane in the final of the World Cup 2006, the British newspaper published a series of articles on the subject in which they destroyed the Italian defender. “We apologize and accept to pay compensation for the accusations that appeared in our newspaper” said Jonathan Price, the representative of Associated Newspapers, which however did not reveal the amount of money that will be paid to the Italian world champion.
