Maldini refused Chelsea

Chelsea London coach, Carlo Ancelotti, said that the former captain of AC Milan, Paolo Maldini, refused the trensfer to the English team, informs Reuters.

“I maid a proposal, but he said he wants to rest, being tired after so many years. It is understandable, but if I was to bring someone to Chelsea, that would have been Maldini,” said Ancelotti.

The former defender of AC Milan and Squadra Azzurra has retired at the end of the season at the age of 41 years.

Otherwise, Chelsea London could announce the transfer of Yuri Jirkov, bought from  TSKA Moscow for 18 million pounds.
