The most popular football clubs in Brazil, Flamengo and Corinthians, will play a friendly match for peace in Palestine, on 15 September on the initiative of the South American country government, informs Reuters.

This will be the second “match for peace” organized by the Brazilian government, after the Brazilian national team played against the national team of Haiti, in 2004 during the political crisis in that country.

The date on which the game will take place was announced on the Flamengo official website. The game will also provide an interesting encounter between Brazilian stars Adriano (Flamengo) and Ronaldo (Corinthians).
