Fernando Torres: "I would like to play for FC Barcelona"
The Spanish international Fernando Torres said that is possible to leave FC Liverpool, which has financial problems for a long time.
Torres said in the Catalan newspaper Sport that would return to Spain if Liverpool would decide to sell him to reduce the amount of debts: "I would like to play for Barcelona. I wouldn’t stay in the English Premier League, although I have enough offers" said the 25 years striker.
Torres ruled out a transfer to Real Madrid, in sign of loyalty for his former team Atletico Madrid. Liverpool bought Torres from Atletico Madrid in 2007 with 38 million euros.
Fernando Torres scored 13 goals in 21 games for Liverpool this season.
